Open to fiction and documentary features, the category provides a platform for filmmakers to present their work to audiences, critics, distributors, and industry professionals. Through curated screenings, discussions, and networking opportunities, RIFF aims to champion bold, thought-provoking cinema and support filmmakers in reaching wider audiences and advancing their creative journeys.

Vineeta is a leading industry curator and market strategist at the forefront of South Asia’s evolving screen industries. She currently heads NFDC Film Bazaar, the region’s premier co-production and project market, where she oversees the curation of the entire market including its various verticals which includes Co-Production Market, Work In Progress Lab, Viewing Room, Screenwriters’ Lab, and industry panels. Her work has been instrumental in launching new voices and connecting South Asian cinema with global producers, sales agents, and festivals.
She also leads the programming of WAVES Bazaar, a pioneering cross-sector of Media & Entertainment Industries hosted by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, India. Designed to foster deals and creative exchange across films, TV, Music & AVGC sector.
With a background in programming, industry partnerships, and festival market consulting, Vineeta has played a key role in positioning India as a hub for international co-productions and market-led growth. She continues to drive conversations around content innovation, regional storytelling, and global collaboration from South Asia.
