Maddock Films is in striking mode, only a few days after their hit “ Munjya” in the theatres, the production house unleashes the teaser of the much- anticipated sequel of their finest horror comedy “Stree” on Tuesday, 25th Jun. The teaser has left fans buzzing with excitement. The fresh look and intriguing vibe of the village of Chanderi have captivated audiences, heightening the anticipation for what promises to be another thrilling installment.
Previously we witnessed the ongoing hunt for men in “Chanderi village” where the evil spirit of a woman named “Stree” goes on a hunting and killing spree every night making men its target. While Vicky, the protagonist and his friends don’t believe such stories until they are forced to unravel the mystery.
The original cast is set to return to unravel the mysteries of the legend “Stree” with Rajkumar Rao’s reprising role as Vicky who is still pulling the threads of his heart for Shraddha Kapoor whose name in the movie is still shrouded in mystery. The upcoming story promises to take its grip from where it left off
delivering the most unexpected cliffhanger. Adding to the excitement, a fresh face- Tamannaah Bhatia makes a striking appearance in a dance sequence. The new trailer reveals a transformed Chanderi where the villagers have started worshipping the spirit of Stree, yet she returns to haunt the people with even more vengeance as it seems. However, it remains to be seen how director Amar Kaushik will develop the character of Shraddha Kapoor in this new project especially since fans have long theorised that Shraddha is the actual enigmatic Stree which might be true from what we’ve witnessed at the end scene of “Stree” itself. Viewers are set to be captivated by the haunting and thrilling revelations that await.
