After the frenzy caused by Stree 2 in theatres, a new, spine-chilling horror film is ready to take the spotlight. This time, it’s darker, scarier, and far more intense. Sony Max has just announced their latest horror, “Adbhut”, and the trailer has already left audiences breathless and on the edge of their seats. Prepare for a cinematic experience that’s more terrifying than ever before.
Directed by Sabbir Khan, who has also written the plot, the upcoming movie casts Nawazuddin Siddique as one of the main leads along with Rohan Mehra, Diana Penty and Shreya Dhanwanthary as other protagonists of the movie who contribute well to the chilling atmosphere of the movie as revealed in the trailer. Siddique recently shared a gripping poster on his Instagram, teasing fans with the caption, “Watch the mystery unravel in the most shocking film of the year.” His words hint at the intense suspense the movie holds, fueling excitement among viewers. With the makers and cast boldly labelling it the “most shocking film of the year, anticipation is reaching new heights, leaving audiences eagerly awaiting what promises to be a thrilling cinematic experience.
The trailer is set in a horror-induced setting and atmosphere, with a couple being introduced in the first scene, played by Shreya Dhanwanthary and Rohan Mehra, who have just moved into a new house. However, with their arrival, strange things also start taking place and it doesn’t take them long enough to notice that something is definitely wrong with their new home. The couple, however, without moving out, decides to appoint a detective played by Siddique to find the reasons behind the supernatural or strange occurring who then decode that Diana Penty’s character is somehow involved as whenever something happens with the house she always seemed to be present within its 1km radius.
The plot itself is not very unique and there are many movies present in Bollywood and Hollywood with the almost exact plot line where a family moves in into a new place and with that strange things start to occur and rather than moving out they decide to unravel the mystery getting them further tangled into the web of horror. The trailer of “ Adbhut” also replicates almost the same plot line; however, we’re yet to witness how they carry it out; even though the basic plotline sounds familiar there can be many ways through which the makers can execute it. So be seated until the 15th of September arrives and the movie promises to premiere directly on Sony Max at 8 Pm on the date.
