San Diego Comic-Con 2024 had a blast this year, and the main focus of the season was our beloved Marvel Studio’s Panel!
The Marvel universe has been etched in our hearts since 2008 with the release of “Iron Man” on the silver screen. Many years went after that, and the studio, with no doubt held its golden place in the history of cinema until 2019. The years after changed the whole scenario of the world. In 2019, Marvel dropped its highest-grossing movie, “ Avengers: Endgame” which created a sensational impact all over the world. However, our hearts and all emotions were left in a blank space at the end of the movie. But in 2021 the series “Wanda Vision” came with a complete surprise and restarted Marvel Phase 4 following several other series and movies.

and several others. Although among all the movies, audiences remarked how the original charm of Marvel was lost and many of these movies didn’t pass the audience and critic reviews and were flops.
To bring back their original charm, in surprise Marvel Panel made great announcements in SDCC 2024. Starting with the major announcement – Robert Downey Jr. Is back as Doctor Doom Yes! After the actor departed from the Marvel Universe in 2019, no one expected him to be back. The actor made it clear he won’t be taking any more Iron Man projects further; however, today, we, as audiences, are excited to see the actor in a whole new villainous character. He’ll first appear in “Avengers: Doomsday”, originally titled “ Avengers: The Kang Dynasty “, set to release in 2026 followed by “ Avengers: The Secret Wars “ coming in 2027.
“Captain America Brave New World ” is still set to hit the theatres as scheduled. In SDCC 2024, Marvel talked about the movie and screened a video clip hinting at a possible storyline as President Ross, played by Harrison Ford, talks about the humongous celestial being emerging from within Earth, hinting at
the possible link between the upcoming and the previous 2021 movie “Eternals”.
“Thunderbolts” coming in 2025, is set to make significant changes in the Marvel cinematic universe bringing back Florence Pugh as Black Widow of Phase 4 along with Hannah John-Kamen, Wyatt Russell, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour and the full cast appearing on stage in SDCC 2024.
Lastly, the highly anticipated movie “ The Fantastic Four: First Steps” which is set to come on July 25, 2025. The timeline will be set in Network 1960s in the movie. The production is yet to start, making fans anxious about how they’ll bring the movie to screen only within a year. The Fantastic Four will also appear in the next Marvel movie” Avengers: Doomsday” and the Russo Brothers will be back to direct the next two Avengers movies.
